Laddy is a young adorable, playful, 1 year old Maltese male. Owner surrendered, reasons, we don't know, but we are sure its because of territorial behavior. Now that he has been in a experienced foster home for a month, he is doing worlds better! Will still require a confident home so he can continue his positive progress. Coat had to be shaved due to heavy matting, will grow back :) Cute as a button, no shed, crated at night, walks on a leash, good with other dogs, untested with cats, we never say a dog going into a new home is housebroken, best in a low traffic adult home, he can be mouthy when excited and protective. Laddy is not a good first dog or going to be suitable in a home with kids (even though he does seem to love kids, he can become protective them, even from parents). Super funny, loves to carry our flip flops around the house, runs donuts around the yard, Laddy does love to bark and be protective when new people come into the home when not kept in check. He needs a owner that will further his training and establish boundries, so he knows the rules and can be the best adult dog possible. Coat will require regular grooming, around 11 lbs, Please know that all shelter dogs will need time, patience as they adjust to a new home. Laddy will require time, patience, training and routine.
